How to recharge your Vuma Fibre Reach prepaid internet account

Already connected and need to top up your service? Here’s a quick and easy guide to help you recharge your Vuma Fibre Reach service.

Ever run out of data right in the middle of streaming your favourite show or during an important WhatsApp call? Staying connected shouldn’t be complicated, and with Vuma, it isn’t. Whether you're working, learning, or just unwinding online, Vuma Fibre Reach gives you fast, reliable fibre internet without locking you into a long-term contract. It’s fibre coverage on your terms. Affordable, uncapped, and prepaid month-to-month.

Fibre that works where you live

Vuma is helping communities like Mitchell’s Plain, Vosloorus, Soweto, KwaZulu-Natal, and Tshwane and more, stay connected to lightning-fast internet. That means more families continue enjoying the benefits of fibre like streaming, studying, job hunting, and video calling, all without worrying about expensive contracts.

Before you recharge, make sure you know who your Internet Service Provider is

Think of Vuma like the road your internet travels on, we build and maintain the fibre infrastructure, this is the network of cables that makes high-speed internet possible in homes. This is our job as a Fibre Network Operator (FNO).

But when it comes to choosing your actual internet service, like how fast your connection is, how much data you get, and how much you pay each month – that’s handled by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

If you’re not sure who your ISP is, check your bill or the SMS reminder you get to pay your bill, it is listed there. You can also scan the QR code on the ONT (the small fibre device) in your home for more details.
